Blast Off! Rocketry - St. Paul Gym
This action packed camp focuses solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight. Learn about model rocket design, aerodynamics, building, propulsion, launching, safety, and repair. Students build a variety of rockets to take home and take part in daily launches. Whether you are serious about model rockets or just a novice, this camp is a blast for boys and girls alike. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Contemporary Ballet Ages 13+ - Ovation Dance Studio
A creative combination of modern dance elements and the classical ballet elements. Dancers will focus on barre work, technique, floor work, flexibility, strength, conditioning and combinations. Female Students: Any color leotard, dance tights and Pink split sole ballet shoes. Warm ups, leggings, skirts or shorts may be worn over dance wear with permission of instructor No bare legs or street clothes will be permitted in class. Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their swim, bike, run, and transition skills for their kids triathlon. We will practice right on their race course! Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in our clinic. Healthy post-clinic refreshments and race goodies for all participants. Mandarin & Chinese Culture with Jenson Cheng - The Philadelphia School
Spend these weeks immersed in the world of China. Campers will practice Mandarin, create art in the traditional Chinese style, and learn about the cultural experience of the Chinese. This camp is perfect for those just beginning their study of Mandarin and for those who studied Mandarin previously and want the opportunity to practice and grow. Artistic work and activities around culture throughout the week will help campers understand the way language, practice, and beauty entwine in the Chinese experience. Sign up for up to four weeks!
