Kids Kab Annual Co-Ed Slow Pitch Tournament - Franklin, VA
The Kids Kab Organization will host a co-ed slow pitch tournament on October 1. Teams must have at least two women on the field at any time. Entry is $150.00. Procceds to benefit Kids Kab Programming and a portion to benefit Breast Cancer research and awareness.

Spring Crash Week - Film Camp - Gallatin, TN
It's spring break and time for extended hours. This year we are open from 7:30-6:00 for Film camp. Middle and High school students interested in all components of making a short film are welcome. All students must participate in the activities of the camp and there will be limited use of the recreational facilities. Bring a sack lunch.

Ever notice that performers like Billy Joel and bands like Coldplay can use the piano to get 16,000 people up on their feet dancing? Join us and jazz up YOUR piano playing! You will learn just a few cool chords and scales in order to create melodies and improvisations, and will use a lead sheet as a means to play almost anything right from the first time you see it. Bring your iPhones or iPads (if you have them) for recording. Well have a rockin performance on the last day with some guest pro musicians that will give you a chance to show off your new found chops! Nature & Pond Life - Middle School
Through observation and inquiry, students explore the Nature around them. In this session we take the children through nature trails and begin our journey with a trees parts and the role each part plays in a trees life cycle. After observing patterns in nature, students create their own design project that will reinforce the lesson learned. What makes a bird a bird? To find out, students go on a picturesque bird walk and use binoculars to observe birds closely. They comb the environment to investigate artifacts like feathers, feet, and skulls to discover how different birds learn to adapt and thrive in their special niches. A hands-on art project helps to reinforce this avian adventure. Through simple scientific observation and physical exploration, students investigate the nature of seeds, their role in the cycle of life, and interesting ways that they adapt, survive, and thrive in their environment. Students dissect seeds and then create their own seed mosaic. They learn about the lifecycles of bees and the role they play in pollination.
