Spring break Kid's painting camp - two classes available! Thursday, April 7th: 9:00am - 11:30am Jumping Dolphin 12:30pm - 3:00pm Masking tape puzzle One class is $25 Both classes is $45 - lunch is not provided - please send a lunch with your child if they're in both classes **NOTES:** 1. Kiddos of all ages are welcome. If your child is under 8 years old, please plan to stay with them during class. 2. Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference - Crossville, TN
The Southern Region 4-H Teen Leadership Conference (SLTRC) is scheduled for September 24-27, 2015, at the Clyde M. York 4-H Center in Crossville. This event is open to senior 4-H members (9-12 grade as of January 1, 2015). SLTRC is an outstanding opportunity to help youth develop leadership skills, citizenship skills and help them find opportunities to put those skills to use in their community. The registration fee for this conference is $180.00 which includes lodging, meals and a t-shirt.

Thunder ALLEY For Good Shepherd Church Youth Camp - Lancaster, OH
Please join us to help support the wonderful and exciting youth camp that Good Shepherd Church host in June. We will have a Yummy bake sale and basket raffles. Everything Art July T/Th - All Things Art Studio
Use your imagination to create fantastic and colorful projects. This combination class offers children a sampling of art projects using various media such as painting, watercolors, collage, and pastels. It is amazing what you can do when you explore your imagination. A variety of materials are used to create your many masterpieces – Many projects are built upon each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. 9th - 12th grades: SAT Prep - Critical Reading and Writing - Saint Marys School
Prepare for SAT success! In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016--as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question on the critical reading and writing portions of the SAT. You will learn how to recognize the types of questions asked on the reading passages, become a more critical reader, and identify the evidence on which your answers are based. For the writing section, we will review the most commonly tested grammar rules and skills as well as learn and practice what it takes to write an outstanding essay, which is now optional and follows a completely different format from the previous version of the SAT. Youll leave this camp with the confidence and skills to make your best score yet on critical reading and writing! (An SAT book will be provided.) Jaymee Gaskins received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a masters in Reading Education from Meredith College. Period 4 - Put on a Play - NBJH Room 246
Students will use the summer school session to work on basic acting skills, and then apply those skills as they rehearse and perform a play for the last day of class. The class exposes students to the dramatic process and gives them an opportunity to apply what theyve learned to a final project.
