Cheerleading Camp Session 9 - Whetstone Community Center
Finish your summer with a cheer. Join us in the last week of the summer at Whetstone Community Center for cheer and tumbling fun. Campers will learn the basics of stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, and dance. Our instructors will work with girls and boys ages 6-14 at all skill levels to help them reach their goals in a safe and fun environment. They will also participate in art activities focused toward cheerleading. On Friday afternoon, campers will showcase their cheer skills in a team performance for friends and family members. *Campers are required to bring an extra pair of clean tennis shoes. Tenor 1: High School Choir - University of Texas at Austin
The High School Choir Camp is open to choral students who are entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. Intensive study of the upcoming All-State repertoire is the primary focus of this acclaimed program for high school singers. One set of the All-State audition music will be provided to each camper at no additional charge. **Students need not have previously been a member of a TMEA All-State choral ensemble. Professor James Morrow, Director of Choral Activities, and Professor Suzanne Pence, Professor of Choral Music Education, conduct. (no experience needed) Think Minecraft is just a video game? Think again. Create, explore, and put your problem-solving skills to the test. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game. The scenario above describes the survival mode. There is also a creative mode where there are no monsters and you will be able to fly around and have unlimited resources to build amazing creations and buildings. Jun 2016 Junior Golf Camp - Eastlake Country Club
Our five day camps are extremely popular and can be summed up in one word: FUN!! They are geared toward introducing children to golf so they can experience how much fun the game is. All aspects of the game are covered including rules and etiquette. Golf cubs are provided for children who do not have a set of clubs. Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to noon and include: instruction, golf shirt, snacks, and a pizza party on the last day! Ages 6-12.
