Youth and Young Adult Leadership Conference - Wilkeson, WA
Youth and Young Adult Leadership Conference Sponsored by the North American Division of SDA, the North Pacific Union and the Washington Conference, this conference is designed for pastors, church elders, local youth and young adult leaders and anyone passionate about developing next generation leaders for Jesus. Over two and half days we will bring together some of the leading experts in youth and young adult ministry to give you inspiration and practical tools to transform your ministry to this emerging generation. The conference will center on four foundational practices of ministry: Lead, Learn, Listen and Love. For those who are unable to attend the entire conference, a Sunday-only option is available. This day will focus on practical tools for the local church leader. Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.

Youth Leadership Summit 2.0
Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

YOUTH SUMMER CAMP: BAKING BOOT CAMP (AGES 10-14) - Pensacola, FL
JUNE 13 - JUNE 17 Monday through Friday Ages 10-14 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Future pastry chefs create detailed cakes, pies and breads. More advanced decorating styles and skills are practiced to create their own “masterpieces.” The final day will be dedicated to our own baking competition. Hey there! This summer’s annual church camp is already down in the books, so mark your calendar! We are excited to have camp at Wallowa Lake because the Wallowas are one of Oregon’s 7 wonders! Primary Art - Aidan Montessori School
Taught by Ms. Hasanthi, this class is for students who are from 3 1/2 to 7 years of age. Classes offer young children exposure to Verity of art medians to help develop their fine motor skills. The art class develops the childs ability to create independent drawings on their own, which enables children to participate in international and local art competitions. They will develop strength of mind and an ordered intellect and will be able to think for themselves. Students use pastels, acrylic and tempera paints to create their art work. Kids are natural builders and this camp is all about building really cool stuff like sculptures, amazing structures, imaginative creatures, playing games and more. Kids work with a variety of tools and materials while combining wood, paint, glue, connectors, paper and kids endless imaginations. Camp Build it encourages collaboration as well as the development of individual skills and brain power. Kids have fun while making new friends, developing skills and confidence, learning with the staff and making awesome projects! $20 dollar material fee due the first day to instructor. Brookwood in Revue (Full Day 9am-4pm) - Brookwood School
Debbie Gantt, Performing Arts Director at Brookwood School, returns! Joined by her son, Dan Gantt, they will direct and produce a high quality musical theater production. Campers will enjoy both individually tailored and group lessons in voice, acting, and dance. At the end of the week, students will perform a musical revue of previously performed Brookwood 8th grade plays. Students will repurpose costumes, sets, and scores.
