Campers will get to explore different passions and projects! From launching hand-made rockets to creating sculptural masterpieces, campers will have a chance to dig into activities they?ve always wanted to try! We?re talking about going beyond your typical art projects and camp games.Campers will have the chance throughout the day to choose which projects and activities sound like the most fun. We?ll be bringing in specialists on different topics, going on adventures and making new friends. Holistic Hoops Playground Legends Basketball Camp - Marine Park Sports Facilities
Lace up your shoes and get ready to learn the game of basketball from a completely new perspective. Coach David Snedeker has played in the Final Four and professionally. He has created the much-heralded Holistic Hoops training system. Recent players that have learned this system have gone on to excel in junior high and high school varsity teams. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water, and wear sunscreen, athletic shoes, and comfortable clothing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. Non-resident registration opens March 9. REFUNDS - Refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. Alto Sax: Middle School Band - University of Texas at Austin
The Middle School Band program is designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The concert bands are conducted by outstanding band directors from around the state. This session provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills. Instruction includes rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons.
