CAP Kid Camp Malibu - Calabasas, CA
We will stay at Gilmore Camp, in Malibu Creek State Park. This camp is a part of the Salvation's Army Mt. Crags & Gilmore Camp & Conference Center in Calabasas http://campmtcrags.com. Located in the heart of Malibu Canyon, this camp provides life changing experiences with various activities on site in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. We are of course also just a short car ride away from the world famous Malibu beaches! We are 1 hr North of LAX, 2.5hr from San Diego, 5.5 hr drive from SF or Sacramento and 7.5 hrs from Reno. Teen Intensive Summer Camp with Mule Pack Trip 2017 - Scotts Valley, C
This 4 week teen intensive is one not to be missed! July 9 - August 5 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - August 5! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. Rappelling, White Water Rafting, Leadership, Firearms Safety Training, Trap Shooting, Basic Hunter Ed, Bow Hunting, Nature Photography, Backpacking, Friction Fire, Fishing, Fly-tying, Hiking, Backcountry Cooking, Horsemanship, Archery, Advanced Scout Training including Wilderness Skills and so much more. The teens will experience all of the same activities our 3 week teen intensive camp has to offer BUT there is a mule and horse packing component preparing the teens to head off on a pack trip putting their learned skills to use with horses and mules the 4th week packing in the Eastern Cascades. Mandarin Language Summer School This program is interactive, immersive, and culturally rich for children learning Mandarin. A credentialed, experienced Immersion Teacher and a native speaker child care staff member teach each class. Enrollment is limited to approximately 20 students per class.
