EV3 Robotics Engineer - Spring Session - La Patera Elementary
Held in Computer Lab. For entry level and experienced students. Utilizing the LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 Base Set and Software, your team will overcome robotic engineering challenges throughout the session! Combining the versatility of the LEGO building system (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO Education) and intuitive drag-and-drop EV3 software, this course will have you and your team programming and engineering robots from day one. Girls Basketball - Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP main gym About: NDP girls basketball camp teaches young players the fundamentals of the game. Those new to the sport will learn the skills of ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense, while more experienced players will be challenged to further develop their competency in those areas. While great focus is paid to individual skill work, ample time is devoted to a variety of competitions. Running the camp is NDP coach Kathleen Offer, who played collegiately at Yale and has coached in the Fighting Irish program for eight years. The entire staff, which includes current NDP girls basketball players and coaches, is dedicated to challenging the campers to the best of their ability while they have lots of fun with old and new friends. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. PM Creatures of the Night 8/8 (ages 4-5) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Learn the art of clay sculpture and create a fantastical ceramic nightlight. Youll combine your favorite parts of different animals (for example, an elephants trunk, a rabbits ears and a lizards tail) to form a magical, working night light to put on your nightstand. SHW - SENIOR HIGH WORKSHOPS - Washington College
The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them. Additionally, the students meet other teens from around the state and have the opportunity to form life-long friendships with each other.
