Gymnastics camp at Prestige Gymnastics is the perfect opportunity to test out gymnastics or to get in a little extra practice! We will divide up beginners and intermediates at the time of class. This camp will work on a variety of drills and skills on all 4 Olympic events including vault, bars, beam and floor while gaining a multitude of knowledge in the basics of gymnastics. This camp is an awesome physical activity to get kids off of the couch and keep them moving during the summer! We are excited about our 2015 Summer Teen Camp. We will be headed to camp CoBeAc in Michigan to join in "the Next Great Detective" the week of July 20th-25th. Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

Mythical Marionettes & Show (A.M.) with Ansley Young - Westerly Creek Elementary (Art Room)
Teachers: Ansley Young and Pam Peters lead young artists in creating a fully functional four legged creature marionette from wood, paint, rope and more. After reading and researching myths and fairy tales, kids use their findings to construct a magical being and develop a story to tell. The story will be told in a 10-15 minute performance at the end of the week. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start.
