Jr Robotics - 1/2 Day - Bricks
Our 1/2 day Jr Robotics class is the best of the Explorer camp but with shorter days for those that dont want a full day camp. If your young children dream of creating and inventing with LEGOs and technology then this is the camp for them! Just like our popular after school courses, campers will use the LEGO® WeDo® system to learn how simple machines work with programmable motors and sensors. THE CHALLENGES ARE ALL NEW AND JUST FOR SUMMER CAMPERS! Learn exciting and new ways to use pulleys, levers and gears to build and program ALL NEW machines! Get Ready for 6th Grade Math - Old Trail School
Get a head start on 6th grade math. We will review concepts needed for the beginning of the school year and beyond. We will go to the computer lab and use interactive programs. We will cover the large whiteboard with calculations. We will work in teams. We will use individual whiteboards. You will have the opportunity to practice math throughout the week and become confident in your math abilities. Challenger Half Day Soccer Camp #2-2013 - Sanchez Field
A 3-hour per day program featuring Challengers new 1000-touch curriculum, individual foot skills, fakes, moves and turns, freestyle soccer, dribbling, passing/receiving, shooting, heading, defending and daily World Cup games! 2016 Winter Training Camp - University Club of Kentucky Golf Course
Are you looking for a way to work on your golf game during the long winter months? Now you can in UKs state-of-the-art indoor training center located at the University Club of Kentucky. Join Head Coach Brian Craig and Assistant Coach Ben Fuqua for our Winter Training Camp in the UK Golf House. Campers will enjoy eight three-hour training sessions on Thursday evenings beginning January 21 and running through March 31. Each session will consist of a 90 minute small group instruction with individualized training (max of 6 golfers per small group). Our coaching staff will focus on improving the golf game of each camper. The facility will also be available for use by the golfers for an additional 90 minutes on each date. Our facility has everything needed to effectively train the serious golfer, including indoor heated hitting bays and an extraordinary indoor short game area. The UK Golf House is also packed with the latest technology such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab. All of these features and technology are there for one purpose…TO MAKE YOU A BETTER GOLFER. Piano (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Learning how to play instruments fosters self-expression, boosts listening skills, and enhances coordination. This new class is offered as an introduction for students to learn the basics of playing the piano and piano skills. Previous knowledge of playing is not required. It is open for both JAC and non-JAC students. Classes are 1-on-1 and last 15 minutes. The Enrichment Program will coordinate with JAC to transfer students to and from their lessons. Please note, however, the Janney Enrichment Program cannot provide supervision for non-JAC students after 3:30 PM. Students who are in a different class until 4:30 can be supervised to attend a piano class at 4:30 or 4:55.
