Froggy Fun - The Evergreen School
A week of hoppiness as children learn about various types of Frogs. This topic will take us through science, literature, math, geography, and art with exciting hands-on projects as we explore the interesting and sometimes unusual world of frogs. This class will be for children that like to have fun and learn new things. 206-957-1533

Lacrosse - Middle & Lower School - Sports at The Heights School
Develop individual and team skills in a fun and positive environment. Become a better lacrosse player and let loose with Coach Mitchell and his fun-loving staff. Each player will be grouped by age and skill and partake in drills designed to teach every aspect of the game while emphasizing the fundamentals. Players will be placed on even teams and game and tournament play will be designed to spark competition and teach sportsmanship. In between lacrosse, players will enjoy other fun activities such as a pool trip, water slides, and individual competitions for prizes. Coach Mitchell will be joined by other Heights coaches, Heights alums, and visits from elite college and professional players. Gymnastics - Intermediate Gymnastics Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
This camp is for gymnasts that have mastered basic positions and skills. The intermediate gymnastic level introduces the gymnast to skill on the high beam, handstand forward rolls, round offs, front walkovers and back walkovers. Gymnasts will also work on skills using the bars and springboard. Parents please provide snacks for your child, as we will be breaking daily for a snack. Welcome to the 2016 AKA All Sports Camp at the National Sports Center! This is AKASPORTs 13th year of multi-sports camps and programs and the activities we have scheduled for this year are simply the best bringing kids the most entertaining and active Summer All Sports Camp program yet! OLYMPIC Games Opening Ceremonies Week provides the perfect way to launch into the summer with multi-sports activities, Olympic Games including track and field events and competitions throughout. Field Trip of the Week : Brunswicks Zone Bowling and Arcade, Thursday, June 16 FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Writing & Journalism - Montessori Academy at Vickery
During Writing and Journalism, students will have the opportunity to write and thoroughly edit and review 1-2 creative writing pieces (such as poems, short stories, novel excerpts, short plays or play excerpts, memoir, personal essay, etc.) Students will learn the art of interviewing and will also be given the opportunity to work through some aspects of the publication process by spending the last day of class compiling handmade class books. 770-777-9131
