Students create original works of art, working with sound, video, and/or media installation. Instruction covers techniques for shooting video, studio lighting, recording sound, 2-d animation, green screen compositing, and the basics of video and sound editing. There are many things we have to survive in this world. Failures, conflicts, temptations, the list goes on. Though surviving the pressures and conflicts in our lives can be a tough and painful process, we can take comfort in the fact that like a piece of coal, we are being turned into precious diamonds for God's purpose. And in a culture that increasingly pushes Christians to the outskirts, it can be like being stranded on an island. But since the begining us Christians have been called to be set apart, "in the world but not of the world", and we know that through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, that we can more than just meely survive, but we can strive! Join us this year in taking a stand on the principles and truths that the Word of God gives us, stepping up to live out our calling and purpose and learning how to transition from being Survivors to becomeing more than conquerors!! Discover whats lurking in the Pine Barrens. Campers see what it feels like to be animals surviving in the woods. Theyll look for the things that make the Refuge so special. Wee Ones Half Day Camp Wee Ones Junior Golf Camps is a fun introduction to golf fundamentals such as stance, gripping, putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. They will also learn basic golf safety, rules, and etiquette -- all while having fun! The instruction will include game-based teaching methods to reinforce the fun side of golf. This camp is designed for those who are ready to advance their learning and exploration of the natural world. Connolly Ranch Stewards will get a behind-the-scenes perspective of Connolly Ranch and its natural history. Participants will have the opportunity to work on conservation projects, build natural shelters, learn advanced farm chores, explore rarely used areas, hike in the hills and delve into techniques, tactics and concepts that this older group is ready to explore. But its not all work! Our naturalists and teachers will guide these budding environmentalists in games and exercises that offer lots of fun while imparting important lessons about protecting open spaces and wild places.
