Summer Camps
Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. We are pleased to have a safe place where he can go and we don't have to worry about him. The camp counselors are great at what they do. They are well trained and accept campers the way they are.
