SOFTBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Lace up your cleats and get ready to play ball! Campers will learn the basics of pitching, catching, fielding, throwing, hitting and base running. Well spend the day working on skills, drills and techniques and then apply the fundamentals during scrimmages. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Youll mold wire into a form that can be as figurative or wildly creative as you want, then wrap it in fancy papers, paint it, and collage it into a fanciful and fabulous light sculpture. 20. STEAM - Pigment School of the Arts
Using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) education as the foundation, students will create works of art that apply design skills in drawing, painting, and 3-D sculpture. Concepts such as symmetry, balance and form which are naturally aligned in both art and math will be fully explored in this camp. Projects include a fun engineering design challenge involving the construction of a small scale chair, a geometric tessellation drawing, and a wooden assemblage incorporating one point perspective. 2143522787.0
