Parkers new summer Writing Workshops for students entering grades 10-12 offers students the opportunity to learn, explore, review and practice a variety of writing skills, including grammar, usage and sentence structures. These intensive, one-week workshops will help students fill gaps, develop comfort, and prepare for future classroom writing experiences. These workshops will be taught by members of the Francis Parker English Department Faculty. In the workshop for rising 11th and 12th graders, students will work in a variety of genres including persuasive, analytical, narrative and creative, with a special concentration on grammar/usage and the personal essay. A small class size ensures that students will have time to gain understanding and confidence in their writing. 773.797.5104

Leadership Camp - Ensworth High School
This course develops leadership skills for middle school students in preparation for High School and beyond. Students spend time in discussion around Harkness Tables, in leadership sessions, in class learning from EHS teachers, participating in PE oriented competitions, and visiting with guest speakers.
