This camp will be 3 days long and 2 hours per day. We will be working on Walk, Trot, Posting, Leading, Haltering, Steering, Grooming, Parts of the Saddle, Bridle and Horse, and fun trivia about care of ponies/horses. Every kid learns at their own pace. I am here to teach them about horses and riding, while being safe and aware. If they are soaring, I let them soar and will continue teaching them new things. If they need to slow down and work on some smaller things, then they get to. This young age group is here to learn and have fun doing it. Week 10: Dare to…INVENT It is often said that necessity is the mother of invention but during this week of camp our spirit of adventure (and need for fun) will guide us! CAMP DETAILS Superheroes/Villains Week Up, up and away! Looking for a creative way for your child to explore their favorite superheroes and supervillains? Access your secret powers in this super-stellar camp! Your child will have a blast developing their hidden talents and extra-ordinary super skills ranging from enhanced senses, ability to fly or become invisible to whatever else our imaginations can create. We will also generate advanced equipment and costumes to accompany our characters with various arts and crafts materials. 5 - Senior Track 1 - Lake Champion
An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday. WEEK 1: EARTH What exactly is soil and how does composting improve it? What living things live beneath the earth we walk on? The earth and our local park and gardens provide our campers with an extraordinary opportunity for exploration. Our campers will begin tending to the soil and planting seeds.
