Beginning Traditional Strings (Fridays) - Viewpoint School
The Beginning Traditional Strings class is for students in Third and Fourth Grade who have no experience and wish to play violin, viola, cello or bass in a traditional class setting. The class will focus on proper instrument posture, note reading and repertoire from the Essential Elements for Strings. These weekly, hour-long lessons include a snack and short break. Students must rent or purchase their own instruments. A book and other instructional materials will be provided. Classes meet on Fridays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. 818-591-6597

DaVinci Kids Full Day (March 30th) - Newtons Attic
If you would like to take this class as a half day option please contact us to register. Science, math, engineering, art: Da Vinci was a master of it all. In this class designed exclusively for young developing minds, students get to follow in his footsteps by engaging in a variety of stimulating activities that cut across a wide range of disciplines. Tool use, building and engineering, chemistry and biology, art and design, spontaneous improvisation, and healthy dose of brain and body play are all mixed together to form this experience. Each activity will last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes as students move from one subject to the next while making new discoveries about the diverse world around them. Ocean Explorers (Week 7 AM) - Buccaneer Biology - NESS
Interrogate the science behind the life of a pirate. Consider sediment densities to determine optimal treasure burial, coastal changes to maximize hiding areas, experiment with eye dominance to determine eye patch orientation, design a boat to withstand the high seas, and test biological make-up of items for high Vitamin C levels to prevent scurvy. Summer Baby +1 (WK 4) - Urbanity Dance
Assisted by caregivers, children are exposed to a combination of ballet, modern, hip hop, and yoga to increase focus, musicality, balance, and coordination. The Renaissance Child - The Renaissance Child
Renaissance offers an 8-week summer camp program, which typically begins in the middle of June, for children ages four and a half to eleven years old.
