Classroom: D-5 Instructor: Bricks 4 Kidz This class is all about the fun of doing something with what youve built. From a spinning top to a spin art model, from an optical illusion to a conveyor belt, kids will love playing with their LEGO® creations! But dont worry, we sneak in lots of learning too — like understanding probability in the 3-in-a-row game model and learning about friction and symmetry with the spinning top. Each lesson reinforces the S.T.E.M. curriculum and encourages students to think of what they could invent or improvements they could make to an existing object to solve a problem. Baseball Camp - Grades 1-6 - Allmendinger Park
Grades 1-6 Whether your camper has played for a few seasons or is just starting out, this camp is the one to choose! Each day campers work on basic to advanced baseball skills and play a game, too! Participants learn in a safe, structured environment, have fun and gain confidence playing baseball. Daily hitting, fielding, pitching and outfield stations are featured as well as daily trivia contests and prizes for everyone! Campers receive a written evaluation on their skills. Campers should bring mitts, bats, snack, sunscreen and water bottles marked with their name. Coaches: GVP Sports staff. Monday-Friday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp will meet in the rain, shelter available for severe weather. Camp uses reduced impact balls for camp. Please bring your own batting helmet if needed. Cactus Petes Saloon was the coolest place in town, but now its the home of the biggest brawl in the desert. Tumbleweeds blow, shots are fired, and the Stagecoach gang is riding into town. Strap on your cowboy boots and warm up your vocal chords, cause this week will be full of singing, dancing, and shoot-outs. Perfect for the young singer/dancer whos got a knack for causing trouble AND saving the day. A trip to Cactus Petes is impossible to forget. Camp meets Monday through Friday, final presentation on Friday. Bring your lunch. LOCATION RAMS Auditorium at 15 E. County Road B-2
Middlesex Youth Camp - Middlesex Youth Camp
Middlesex Camp is divided into a Senior Camp and Junior / Pee-wee Camp. Each group has its own tent on the field which serves as a home base during the day. The camp features recreational activities including arts and crafts, science and nature, sports and other organized games, weekly theme-related activities, and special events. Pee-Wee campers will have swim lessons. Junior campers will have swim and tennis lessons. Senior Campers will have tennis lessons twice a week and free swim daily. On rainy days, camp is held in the clubhouse and also under an awning over a paddle court. The philosophy of the camp remains low key summer fun, giving the children a taste of the many different activities the club has to offer, but also a time to simply play and build friendships.
