Your child will look forward to each days challenge and excitement and build a summer full of special camp memories! This traditional day camp experience will include swim lessons and free swim time, weekly activity themes, camp craft skills, nature study, sports & games, arts and crafts and special events. There is an Open House on Friday, June 24 from 3-5:30pm at Greenwood Childrens Center and Greenwood Park. Join us to meet the staff that will be working with your child this summer and take this opportunity to visit our facility. We recommend first time campers attend to help ease the transition of a new activity. Extending the Fun of the Club
Our kids have been going to the local Boys and Girls club for the past year but this was the first time they ventured out for summer camp. I'm so glad they did. They got to try out so many new things. One of the big hits was the work in the garden. Now they want to turn out backyard into a vegetable patch. G.A.L.S (Ginger Adventure, Leadership and Service) - Ginger Cascades
Are you ready to do more at Ginger Cascades and become an important part of camp? In addition to all your favorite camp activities, you will have an opportunity to plan and lead a program for younger campers. You will learn new leadership skills, plan and complete a service project and go on two trips! During your first week, you will visit High Gravity Adventures Aerial Adventure Park in Boone, and then you will learn about the logistics of trip planning as you plan your off-site adventure for your second week! There will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy all the traditional camp activities you know and love from cascading to archery to campfire songs. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim two laps in the Ginger Cascades pool, tread water for two minutes and weigh at least 80 pounds to participate. 336-274-8491

Elite Level/GK Specialty Camps Session #1 - Vonnie Gros Athletic Field
The WCU Field Hockey Elite Level & GK Specialty Camp offers a unique op-portunity for the serious field hockey athlete. The camp has been designed to challenge athletes in settings different from the traditional camp situations. The camps will offer tactics and techniques in goal scoring, defensive strategy, and goal-keeping technique. Each evening will conclude under the lights with game play. These offerings will appeal to the serious field hockey athlete! EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, sunscreen, and a container of water (no glass). Goal-keepers must bring their own equipment. WCU and its camp staff are not re-sponsible for lost or missing items. All personal equip-ment should be marked with the campers name. 610-436-3555
