Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. The Jarmelle Jo-Jo Jones AddnoE Youth Leadership Camp - Memphis, TN
This is a Leadership Camp that will be held on the campus of Christian Brothers University. The students will reside on campus during this week and will partake in leadership exercises, classes, and community service projects each day. We have leaders from around the city that will be in attendance each day to meet each student and to ensure they are in the know about what is going on in the city. The students will have homework each day and will go through a rigorous course designed to mold the leaders of tomorrow. Keep your kids busy and happy during Winter Break! The Vail Recreation District's Winter Break Camp provides children 5 - 12 and grades K - 5 with a variety of fun activities and winter outings. The camp is based out of the Red Sandstone Elementary School gymnasium in Vail. The cost is $40 if registered by December 14th or $45 if registered after December 14th. Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Even if you dont want to participate in the Mud Run we invite you to come out to the mini youth rally and help us cheer on those that are! All proceeds go towards our general scholarship program! This is camp for those who want not just to have an experience, but to make an experience. We bring out the leadership skills in all our campers and help you create a unique week of camp. You will participate in all the Fowler has to offer and gain some of the skills that our staff has learned. If you are in 10th-12th grade, participation in LEAD also allows you to apply to come as a Student Working in Ministry (SWiM) and use your newly honed skills alongside of the Fowler staff. Students need to fill out a SWiM application which can be found on the Fowler website. Weeks will be assigned on a first come - first served basis. 518-631-6789

There is so much exploration to be done in the world of childrens literature! Students will be exposed to the wonders of their favorite books and be introduced to newly published stories as well. Our PV Hockey high end summer individual skills program is designed for the serious player. PV and the rest of the staff use this 7 week program to work on and enhance your total skills package and to take your game to the next level. We limit the groups to 18 players with 5 of our top instructors, Coach V, Ken Hodge Jr, Jason Lawrence, Dave Cunnif, Steve Poapst, Danny Hodge are just a few of our lead instructors. Our primary focus is on skating, passing and stickhandling, the 3 areas Coach V has seen a dramatic drop off in over the past several years and an area where you can make a difference. Our staff is dedicated to teaching you the right way to play the game and thru our stop and do it right teaching methods, our track record is second to none.
