Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to San Antonio with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our annual classic summer camp. Camp Broadways Original Summer Program enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. Inspired by Broadways cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences. I cannot put into words how much CK has meant to me and I can't wait to relive the experience. Camp was easily the most life changing and happiest time of my life. With that being said....I'm back again!!! Back to plug how amazing this org and non-profit is and back to fundraising for the kids. For those of you who may not know, Camp Kesem is a camp for children's whose parents have been affected by cancer. Camp is their chance to live freely as children without any of the weight and worry of cancer. I'm so excited to embark on this journey again and can't wait until the countdown to camp begins!!! Learn about the different ways ceramics have been used in other cultures while exploring a variety of clay techniques. Well create our own examples of unique clay vessels, such as Egyptian Canopic jars, Russian nesting dolls, and Latin American maracas. 970.728.3886
SuperSports - Multi-Sport Camp 1 (Grades 5-9) - WWP High School North
SuperSports - Multi-Sport Camp (Grades 5-9) Athletes will play a variety of sports such as flag football, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, floor hockey, rugby, wiffleball, dodge ball, team handball, and "capture the flag" in a competitive yet encouraging environment. Athletes will improve skills with sport-specific drills and are matched with others of similar ability. A 2 ½ day Super Sport Olympic Games competition with be held starting Wednesday afternoon with prizes and 2017 WW-P Athletic Sport Camp scholarship awards. Staff: Mike Jackson Pre and post camp care is available at Millstone River school through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. Early Reader Program - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: D-8 Instructor: Active Reading Center () This reading class is designed for first and second grade students who have difficulty learning to read in traditional environments. We utilize play activities that help emerging readers learn letter sounds, and blend those sounds into words. All teaching is done by trained teachers from the Active Reading Center. A brief evaluation of each students abilities will be provided at the end of the session. Students may be recommended for work with a reading teacher on a one-on-one basis. Our multi-sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting while teaching them vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. For this program we combine Ultimate Frisbee, Capture the Flag and Kickball into one fun-filled week. Please wear sneakers and bring a peanut free snack, water bottle and sunblock daily. Middler Camp will encourage children going into third and fourth grade to discover what it means to live faithfully for God—the Challenge given by the Apostle Paul in 1 Cor. 9:24. During this four-day camp, music, lessons, crafts, games, swimming, and campfires will keep your child busy building relationships with other kids and most importantly, with Jesus. Matt Beckner, Pastor at Twin Cities Christian Church in Council Bluffs (IA), brings more than a decade of experience leading Bible Camps for children this age.
