Greetings, friends! We want you to be a part of the Fox 61 “Send a Kid to Camp” Phone Bank, benefiting Hartford’s Camp Courant. The Phone Bank will air live from Fox 61 and WCCT (CW) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 beginning from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and then returning from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Your support of this campaign will help Hartford’s Camp Courant and Fox 61 further their missions to support education-based programs for children throughout the greater Hartford community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 during the live four-hour televised fundraiser, which will help to enhance the summer experience for nearly 1,000 Hartford children this year. We have a long standing, aligned and focused partnership with Fox 61 who is dedicated to making a positive difference. Everything they do in the community will link directly to their mission of HOPE (Helping Organizations Promote Education) where they will focus their resources to maximize impact. FOX 61 builds bridges between Connecticut companies, nonprofit organizations, citizens and leaders to cultivate collaborative partnerships to inform, educate and inspire their viewers. Coed Soccer - WEDNESDAYS ONLY - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP baseball field About: This coed soccer session will run for three consecutive Wednesdays for 1st-4th graders: 6/15, 6/22 and 6/29 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Athletes will go through a skills session focusing on ball control, passing and shooting, followed by a scrimmage. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. 248-373-5300

Volleyball is the ultimate team sport. It is exciting, action packed and one of the fastest growing sports in the Tidewater area. The game requires outstanding hand-eye coordination, skill mastery, quickness, anticipation, teamwork and the motivation to "lay it all on the line." Now is a great time for your child to get started or further develop their game at the NCS volleyball camp. Campers will receive instruction in the six skills of volleyball: serving, passing, digging, setting, attacking and blocking. Campers will learn rotational and perimeter defenses and how and when to use them. Though instruction will be thorough, the atmosphere will be positive and enjoyable for all the campers. Onalaska High School Head Varsity Baseball coach, Larry Swiggum, and his players will run this pre - tryout camp. The camp will help players get ready for the upcoming park and rec summer baseball tryouts. Throwing, fielding, hitting, and pitching are some of the skills to be covered. Pre-registration is required!! Camp Dates and Times: Wednesday, April 6 - 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday, April 9 - 4:00-6:30pm Location: Onalaska High School Varsity Baseball Field, Off of Riders Club Rd (may be moved into Onalaska High School Fieldhouse if weather is bad).
