Science Readiness Camp 2016 - Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School
In the Science Readiness Camp, students strengthen their laboratory, basic mathematics and study skills. They learn how to make quantitative and qualitative observations while using the scientific method to explore real-world phenomena. Ed Lee - Story Structure for Sitcom Pilots and Specs - iO West
Television writer and iO West instructor Ed Lee will discuss how television episodes - including pilots - are structured, and how you can apply it to your writing so your television scripts can have the best possible impact on your audience. Ed Lee has written for several TV shows including Norm, "The Drew Carey Show, Class of 3000, and "Are You There, Chelsea?", and has worked in punch-up rooms for many sitcom pilots. Building a Light-Controlled Synthesizer - MacRostie Art Center
Work with composer, instrument builder, and educator, Troy Rogers to create a light-controlled synthesizer. Can be taken individually, or in conjunction with the Musical Robots workshop. All materials provided by instructor: each student leaves with a functioning light-controlled synthesizer they built during the workshop. Students will also have the opportunity to particcipate in a performance that evening at 7 pm, open to the public, at MacRostie Art Center! Ages 13 – 17. 218-326-2697

Dance Arts & Tumbling $185 Rising K-2 July 11-15 8:30am-2:00 This camp will get your childs creative juices flowing for the summer. Each student will learn creative movement, tumbling, stretching, and basic dance steps. We will create art and craft projects that will be used in different dances. On the last day we will have a short showing for parents 30 minutes before camp is over.
