Rain Forest Adventures - Forney, Trinity Family Church
Kids will learn about the rain forest through art & literature this week! They will draw & paint toucans, tree frogs, mandrills, exotic plants of the jungle, & many other aspects of the rain forest. Campers will enjoy using their creativity to create rain forest animals from clay each day. Please bring to camp: Large shoe or boot box for fired clay pieces (write name on box), old shirt to wear during camp Each day: Drink & snack to enjoy during 15 minute break About our Summer Camp! Campers will experience 3 hours of creative opportunities each day. They will learn & practice basic skills such as drawing with pencil, markers, charcoal, oil & chalk pastels. Students will learn color mixing & painting with artist paintbrushes while using watercolors & acrylic paints. Every day, students will get their hands into clay while they learn handbuilding techniques such as pinch, coil & slab. All clay projects will be fired & will be ready 2-3 weeks after camp. These camps are for ages 5-12 years & in some locations there will be sessions which include teens. The Saturday Practice & Play Program is an on the course class. This class is 9 weeks. It is designed to gain course management skills and a great way to get out and play every week. Participants must be able to play 9 holes independently and in timely fashion. 916-808-2283

Hockey Camp - Twin Lakes Church
Learn to skate, pass, and shoot like your favorite NHL stars! Camp is taught by experienced hockey players and coaches. You will need your own helmet, skates, gloves, knee and elbow pads as we play outside. Sticks provided. 831-465-3386

SJC - Discovers 2D Animation - SJC Long Island
Computer animation 2D: Using open source and freely available software, campers will learn to create 2D environments, animate their drawings and add color and sound. These are similar to the techniques used in creating professional animated films and video games. Campers creative thinking and problem solving skills will be enriched, while they have fun creating these animations. No previous experience in animation is required. 631 687 4556

Carved & Hand-Built Vases in Clay - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
In this class students will slabs to construct a one-of-a-kind vase form. Decorative designs will be carved into the shape to give these vessels an ornate appearance. Finished pieces need to be fired and glazed. All works will be picked up at a later date. 302 239-2434 x120
