Little Art 6 - Awesome Artists - Artists Exchange
Do you really love paintings by Vincent van Gogh? How about glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly? What about the illustrations of Charlie Harper? Awesome Artist Campers will explore every medium, create art and be inspired by artists new and old, the masters and the contemporary. If you learn from the best, you too can become an Awesome Artist! Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

Secrets Behind Great Image Making - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
Improve your image making by better understanding that great images come from a series of decisions, not merely impulse and opportunity. In under three hours, participants will see before and after examples of photographs…hearing the challenges behind making each image and the decisions that ultimately brought them to life. Participation in the workshop can be a way for students to either begin their journey of improved image making OR a visual treat after completing steps one and two in the course sequence. Sports Camp week 5- Basketball (ages 5-12) - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of basketball camp, children will focus on the fundamental skills necessary to excel in the sport including dribbling, passing (chest passes, bounce passes, and overhead passes), shooting (jump shots and full shots), and man to man defense. Agility and hand eye coordination will also be emphasized. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of basketball camp will focus on the basic rules such as traveling, double dribble, charging and blocking, as well as the duties of each position. Additionally modified games of basketball and cooperative games such as knock out, PIG, around the world and 21 will be played during the last hour. As the skills of each child advances, the third hour will consist of more realistic game like situations and a mini tournament based upon age group. Equipment will be provided. New This Year! Forensics Detective - The Miami Valley School
Who doesnt love a good mystery? You will answer the questions, Who did it?, How did it happen?, and Do we have proof? Science will help us answer all these questions. You will fine-tune your detective skills of observation and creative thinking in this fun and inquisitive camp.
