Learn how to make awesome graphics, use digital art programs, and manipulate images! This course develops proficiency in operating the Mac as applied to learning the basic design tools of Adobe Creative Suites main programs: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Students will learn how to use these software tools to digitally draw, paint, and collage unique works of computer art and design. BHT Camp 2016 - First Informational Meeting - Powell, OH
Hi Everyone! It's almost 2016, which means it's finally time to start preparations for this summer's camp! The first informational meeting will be on Saturday, January 9th. There will be a total of two informational meetings (the second on January 31st). If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. Also, keep an eye out on your emails for the counselor application that will be released soon. Can't wait to see all of you on January 9th! We are offering a Kid’s Night In at Camp so parents can have a date night. This month's theme is FALL FUN. The night will include camp activities,fall themed crafts, games, pizza and applesauce for dinner and a movie. (if your child has dietary restrictions, please send something to eat with them.) Teen Bander Training Camp (ages 14-18) - Hilton, NY
This camp is open to students aged 14-18 who are interested in learning the basic techniques of passerine bird banding, and in examining the scientific reasons for tracking birds of all kinds. Students should have a demonstrated interest in birds to apply; see the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory website for details. Do you love learning about plants, animals, and the natural world? Do you want a chance to get outside, play, and explore this summer? Our nature camp will foster a personal connection to the natural world as we become naturalists and adventures fro the week!
