Youth Athletic Development Camp - Downers Grove, IL
The Coaches at Functional Effect are excited to announce registration has officially opened, and a limited number of spots are available, for our Youth Athletic Development Camps. 2 Camps Available! *Ages 8-12 - start 6/14 *Ages 13-18 - start 6/13 Our athletic development camps are designed to help your student-athlete build skills to help them both on and off the court. Our 8-12 group will have an emphasis on basic movement pattern development, and SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) Training, while the 13-18 group will also dive into proper lifting technique and strength and explosive power development. Both groups will also receive education on how to maximize their results during camp through good nutiriton! C.T. Townsend's Youth Camp has been the talk of our church & I can see a lot of the kids getting excited about attending! We currently have 38 kids signed up and ready to go so of course they are going to be helping out with this :) and the cost is $250 per child this would help out tremendously for the parents.. Challenger Sports British Soccer Camps - Monadnock Park
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Challenger Sports, providers of North Americas most popular summer soccer camps. The camps will run Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challengers British coaching staff flown to the U.S.A exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold over 3,700 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 150,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 40,000 parents and coaches. Challengers British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily "World Cup" tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. Dance Mini Camp - Fine Arts Academy
This three day camp is designed for boys and girls ages 5‐8. Children will explore ballet, jazz, hip‐hop, tap, and contemporary dance. Students will also have the opportunity to view musicals and ballets to stimulate creativity and exploration as they, together with the instructor, create their own dance routines and imagination!! This camp is the perfect introduction to a variety of dance styles and can help your young dancer decide which dance form they would like to learn more about in our fall program. Camp begins each morning at 9:00am, pick up time is 12:00. The Art and Science of Photography - Sycamore School
Instructor: Lauren Ditchley -- During this camp photographers explore the medium of photography in many forms. We will experiment with traditional methods of image making - Cyanotype prints, pinhole photography, black and white darkroom, as well as current techniques in digital photography and photoshop editing.
