Minecraft 3D Supreme – Ages 8+ - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Not for beginners! This camp is for campers who have been playing Minecraft. Minecraft™ has taken the world by storm with its block-building, digital game design that allows players to build, explore, create, collaborate, and even survive. With no set rules, you can build anything you can possibly imagine. During this 4-day adventure, campers will learn different modes of playing. They will use cool mods as they escape monsters, build amazing structures, create maps, mine the world under their feet, climb the tallest mountains, and utilize robotic turtles to manipulate the vast world around them. They will learn real coding techniques to program their turtles to accomplish tasks while working as a team with other campers to unleash their creativity! Campers take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. NO Minecraft account is needed for THIS CAMP as we have licenses ready for use. Just come and learn the basics, as well as advanced techniques and new strategies of this great game! However, to play at home, you will need a Minecraft account. Engineering in Nature - Bozeman Fish Technology Center
Did you know that beavers have built a dam twice the size of the Hoover Dam? Or, that the second largest beaver dam is in Three Forks?! These engineers work for generations building underwater fortresses! Engineers find inspiration in nature every day. Investigate natural systems and hypothesize why they exist. This week offers a collection of favorite science experiments designed to be hands-on and fun. The class will be looking at bugs, playing with water, experimenting with bubbles and much more. 206-957-1533

7th-9th grade girls: Innovators Hub - Saint Marys School
Students should choose one of the three programs as their primary focus but will interact with the other two programs throughout the week. 1. Learning To Lead: FINDING YOUR PASSION- focuses on skill building that will help girls grow as strong, confident leaders. Leaders-in-training work directly with women leaders from Saint Marys and the Raleigh community, both one-on-one and in group programming, to explore topics including leadership styles, public speaking, business etiquette, historical women leaders, navigating ethical dilemmas, resolving conflict, find your passion, and community engagement. At the end of the week, participants have new leadership skills, a better sense of themselves as leaders, and the confidence to be leaders in their own lives. 2. The Power of STEAM - offers girls the opportunity to develop new skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. From exploring the arts to visiting maker spaces to learning about design thinking, participants have fun while discovering all that these STEAM fields have to offer.
