This is our History 2 week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. Day 1: Fort Point/City Hall Day 2: Wells Fargo Museum/Cable Car Museum Day 3: SF Dungeon/Wax museum and Boudin Bread Factory Tour Day 4: Angel Island/US Immigration Station/China Town back alley tour Day 5: USS Pampanito/ SS Jeremiah OBrien (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. We return to Rockridge BART at 4PM for pickup or post camp day care. *Note: UAC will follow the schedule posted unless issues arise, in which case we will make any and all substitutions equal to the current schedule. 510-339-0676

What a wonderful time she had at Shane Weight Loss Camp. For the first time she was excited about doing physical activities. She's back home now and teaching us all how to eat healthy and stay fit. 4-H Teen Voices Retreat - New Windsor, IL
Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Rock Island County 4-H for an interactive leadership retreat on Saturday, August 29 at Camp Summit in New Windsor. Teens will get to participate in team-building exercises, go zip-lining and other outdoor activities as well as give their input into ideas they would like to see for youth programs in the local community. Teens will learn ways they can use their interests and skills to develop their leadership, citizenship, presentation and organization skills by becoming in involved in the various 4-H Teen programs offered in Rock Island County.

Paddle New York: Summer Camp Weekend Moose River - Lyons Falls, NY
The Moose is a classic northeast creek. Big drops with multiple options for cool new lines. Intermediate and advanced boaters are welcome! Boat demos will be available from Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company, and paddles will be available for demo from Werner Paddles. Friday: Evening: Arrive at Fowlersville put-in and set up camp. Drinks and food around a campfire Saturday: Morning first timers run. Creeking clinics will be available. The Defensive Specialist camp will be a two‐part camp that will focus on the defensive portion of the game as well as the serve receive aspect of the game. There will be a progression of each skill from the building of your platform to the actual movement of hitting the floor. Emergency Vet - Advanced - Highland Park Presbyterian Church
This camp covers a broad range of topics including an extensive survey of animal anatomy featuring a comprehensive rat dissection, which includes neutering and suturing. Campers will spend a considerable time using the microscope as they study a variety of bacteria and parasite that prey on our favorite pets. This camp is for 10 year olds and older. Campers must have already taken our Camp Emergency Vet first. Sample Topics: Rat neutering, Suturing, using a hypodermic needle, Bacteria and Parasites, Broken Bones, Dissection, Blood Smears and the Microscope. 214-530-5979

Acorn (Pre-school: Ages 3 - 5) - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
Acorns will spend the week creating nature-inspired crafts, taking a wagon ride, cooling off with water play, hiking Little Mountain, playing, exploring and having an all-round great time. Acorns will enjoy a separate worship service with age appropriate songs and lessons. Acorns are led by trained staff at a ratio of 1:6. Acorn camp is for children who have not yet attended Kindergarten and are potty trained. Acorns go home before lunch but will be provided a nutritious morning snack. Drop off is between 7:30 and 8:30. Pick up is between 12:00 and 12:30. 336-629-4085
