Foothill Horizons Summer Camp - Foothill Horizons Summer Camp
We offer seven, 5 day sessions for campers who are 8 to 12 years old. Campers who are 13 to 17 years old may attend as Counselors in Training or Junior Counselors. Each week offers an imagination based theme. Evening activites will be based on the theme of the week. Daytime activities include organized games, pool activities, creek stomps and arts and crafts. Eastside Soccer Camp - Eastside Soccer Camp
For the last 19 years, Eastside Soccer Camp has been recognized as the premier youth day camp in Metro Detroit. Designed and directed by Hall of Fame Coach Thaier Mukhtar, the camp welcomes over 600 boys and girls from schools all over the tri-county area every July. Coach Mukhtar has designed his camp to ensure that every player receives maximum attention and exposure. Players will spend the week learning the game the right way, working hard, and having fun. Climbing Camp - Beginner - Breckenridge Recreation Center
Calling all climbing kids! Come out for an amazing week of climbing and having fun. Learn basic techniques in knots, belaying, and climbing movement. The final day of each camp is outdoors, climbing on real rock here in Summit County, returning to the Recreation Center by 1:00pm. No camp on Wednesdays. Four-day camps are offered in three sessions running June 6-August 5. If youve already attended a Beginner Climbing Camp, check out our Intermediate Climbing Camp to pick up where you left off last summer to keep the climbing going! Upon successful completion, climbers may move to our Intermediate Climbing Camp. Suggested personal equipment for outdoor climbing day: Comfortable shoes for approach, water bottle, snack, wind/rain jacket, extra layers, sunscreen/lip balm, hat and camera. Gizmos, Gadgets & Other Interesting Inventions with LEGO - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: D-5 Instructor: Bricks 4 Kidz This class is all about the fun of doing something with what youve built. From a spinning top to a spin art model, from an optical illusion to a conveyor belt, kids will love playing with their LEGO® creations! But dont worry, we sneak in lots of learning too — like understanding probability in the 3-in-a-row game model and learning about friction and symmetry with the spinning top. Each lesson reinforces the S.T.E.M. curriculum and encourages students to think of what they could invent or improvements they could make to an existing object to solve a problem.
