Camp CCYT 2016 - Huron, OH
Camp CCYT is BACK! Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is pleased to announce GODSPELL as its 2016 summer camp offering! Explore all aspects of the theatre with other aspiring actors who love the stage as much as you do! Camp CCYT is the arts camp that is more than a traditional summer camp. Designed for students ages 10-18, the program is a comprehensive, one-week intensive, in which students get a chance to hone their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. Camp CCYT meets July 18-23, 2015, 9am – 3 pm in the McBride Auditorium on BGSU Firelands College Campus. One performance of Godspell is scheduled for Saturday, July 23 at 10 am. Each student will not only STAR onstage in the production, but also will also contribute to the direction, choreography, set, lighting and costume design of the production. Students will be assigned a mentor from the Caryl Crane Youth Theatre 2016 Staff and will work as assistants on a specific “behind-the-scenes” area of their interest. Camp CCYT is designed to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding about producing and participating in a first-class musical with working professionals. Tuition for Camp CCYT is $125.00 and space is limited to 34 students....
Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. They will be documenting the AFA students' progress and the finished piece will be screened on July 29th at the MATCH. Cost: $275 REGISTER AT www.swamp.org

Artwork may include paper mache, mobiles, sculptures from natural and recycled materials, mosaics, painting in the style of famous artists, collage and lots more! Play lots of games, sports and explore the park. On Wed campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. Bring a bag lunch. There will be a $25 dollar material fee due the first day. This camp is aimed at the basketball player who may have some basketball experience but wishes to learn more. The clinic staff will introduce the aspiring player to fundamental basketball skills as well as some of the finer points for the game in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere. The clinic will include demonstrations, contests, guest speakers, and much more. This camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at the Kittery Community Center.
