Parker Summers Full Day Camp, Session II - Francis W Parker
Campers engage in activities that revolve around weekly themes in this full-day program. Arts and crafts, sports and games are part of the fun. In addition to their regularly scheduled morning of Old Time Favorites, campers participate in Sports Shorts Clinics, Book Club, Story Theater, Wacky Wednesday Mystery Guests, Fun Friday Activities and Barbecues. Campers in first and second grade also experience off-campus excitement with our weekly field trips. Instructional swim time at a local pool and visits to the beach are included each week. No camp July 4. LUNCH: Parker Summers campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks Monday–Thursday. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. Hermosa Beach - Restaurant Camp I - St. Cross Episcopal Church Kitchen
Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Chefs will immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. Throughout the week kids will also prepare delicious recipes and safely learn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques. Counselor in Training (CIT) - New England Frontier Camp
The CIT Program is the capstone of the camping experience for young men. For decades, the CIT program at New England Frontier Camp has challenged young men physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to refine and build their character. They are pushed and challenged in ways designed to grow their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Our CITs will build leadership experience into their lives that they can carry with them into manhood. The program is a five week program, consisting of two weeks of Pre-Camp training with the staff, and the first week of summer program with some intensive activies and projects. CITs have the opportunity to acheive Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid. Then, during sessions of the summer camp program, CITs are placed in limited program activities and closely observed by the senior staff. You See Dirt, We See Art! - Emma Davidson - Touchstone Center for Crafts
Take a step into a whimsical world of creation and imagination when you enter Touchstones enchanted forest. You will embark on a journey between worlds, as we create beautiful art from nature. Whether you are painting with mud or building a collaborative sculpture, this week of wonder and intrigue is one you dont want to miss! Working outside and in the studio, individually and collaboratively, you will end this week with greater art making skills and a better understanding of our surrounding world. Emma Davidson earned her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Between 2012 and 2015, she was on staff at Touchstone Center for Crafts and worked as a teaching artist for various organizations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, Emma is living Juneau, Alaska, where she is enjoying a year-long, dual art and teaching residency at the Canvas.
