Open to any and all entrants, this camp is designed for anyone wanting to experience a week of Warrior Ninja Acrobatics Training! Each day will feature a different theme, teaching aspects of Parkour, Ninja Warrior training, Circus, Acrobatics and Gymnastics. Participants will focus their training primarily on both Warrior Ninja Skills (parkour and acrobatics) and Gymnastics (tumbling and apparatus work). Participants will be grouped depending upon age and current level of training. This fun filled half day camp is perfect for adventurous kids who love to run, jump, flip, climb and fly! Second annual kids do Strollfit class. All kids are welcome to bring their baby stroller, lawn mower, anything they can push and they will do their own Strollfit class. Prizes will be given for best decorated vehicle/push item. I will assign older kids an exercise to teach to the other kids (generally 4 and up). Moms, please help them and practice with them. If you have a younger one that would like to teach, let me know and I will add them. Don't want to exclude any who wants to teach!! Be sure you bring your camera. Skate Camp USA - Alga Norte Community Park
Coach Coopers Skate Camps USA will provide a great beginning for the new skater and the needed guidance for the more experienced. The philosophy is to have each child become a confident skate board rider. Each class and camp, riders will learn the all around aspect to riding a board prior to camp. Bring own board, helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guard are required to participate. Percussion Camp - MPLS - MacPhail Center for Music - Mpls
Build your skills on all percussion instruments in this intensive and fun five-day camp. Each day you will play exciting music in small percussion ensembles with other students of similar ability and skill level on a variety of instruments. Students will have the opportunity to select clinics that focus on specific instruments such as drum set, snare drum, timpani and mallet keyboard instruments. During the week students will also learn practical skills such as making their own mallets and tuning their own snare drum. All student ensembles will perform for family and friends on the last day of camp. Students must have one year of band of a year of private instruction in preparation for this camp. Students outside of the age range but who have had comparable experience may contact the camp coordinator, Bob Adney, at 612-767-5410, for placement.
