Kansas City Church of Christ Teen Camp Fundraiser - Olathe, KS
Inside the restaurant on the north side of Bass Pro, inside Uncle Bucks. Raising money for the teens to go to camp in June! Shopping for guest begins at 6:15pm!! Quarters down, Paddles up at 6:45pm!! Come on out and win items up to $75 for as little as 3 quarters from multiple area vendors. There will be two rounds of the auction and one round of the raffles. Vendors put up their item for bid for 1-3 quarters, you bid that many quarters per paddle you hold up, if you desire that item. If your paddle number gets called, THAT ITEM IS YOURS. Daily activities for children who are in the two-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include age-appropriate educational toys, materials, and games based upon the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. Daily group lessons include stories, music, gross motor activities, language experiences, and discussions including questioning and research. Additional activities include cooking, growing plants, nature interactions, and having visitors share information about the unit studies. Chicago Outlaws Boys Lacrosse Camp - Olympic Park
Learn fundamental techniques and skills necessary to be a successful lacrosse player by the Chicago Outlaws Lacrosse. Basic skills will be emphasized and range from ground balls, passing and throwing to stick skills, one-on-one skills and team format. 835PM: Minecraft 3D Game Design and Adventure Maps - NextGen Tech Learning
In this camp, students will learn about 3D game design and adventure maps in Minecraft. You will learn to use MCEdit and SPC to make adventure maps & other Minecraft maps. You will add many traps to your maps and receive some great rewards at the end. At the end of this camp, you will be able to take your creations home and share them with your friends.
