One Week Demigod Institute - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Students will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. This program involves an application process which is begun with your students registration. Not all applicants are accepted. applicants who are not selected will be invited to participate as campers (early bird rates) Our highly acclaimed Demigod Institute program fosters innovation in students who are preparing for university in a variety of fields. As part of a close-knit team, the program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants co-plan programs, lead quests, create collaborative innovative projects, assist in teaching activities, and share responsibility for the camp operations. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Beyond Your Best Books - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
This session will allow kids to convert their favorite stories into keepsake crafts using the process of upcycling. This experience will teach the importance of repurposing through creativity while encouraging conversations about the value and importance of literature in our lives. Participants will create several items from old books chosen for this purpose. While creating these items, we will discuss their favorite stories, the most fascinating characters, and why books and upcycling are important. *Participants will need to bring 3 hardback books of their choice; books that are in disrepair or those which would otherwise be recycled are recommended. Favorite childrens books are especially useful. Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. She is the subject area librarian for Brebeufs Religious Studies and Science departments. She is a former Girl Scout leader; enjoys books, cooking, baking; and loves all things outdoors. Bounce Back - Bounce Back
Bounce Back non-profit leverages the game of basketball to provide renewed hope to young people who are de aling with (or have overcome) difficult life challenges. The Skills and Drills clinic was designed by former NBA Players, David Wingate (founder of Bounce Back) and Micheal Britt (Britt-Quinn Enterprise). It is their flagship program. The skills and drills clinics combines a mentorship component with motivational talks along with clinics teaching ball handling, rebounding, defense and shooting. The clinics are taught by legendary players of their time (both former pro NBA and semi-pro players). We currently offer Skills & Drills clinics for youth in Delaware, MD (Baltimore & Eastern Shore), Philadelphia, PA, DC Metro, Suffolk, VA, North & South Carolina, Louisville, Kentucky and Atlanta, GA. BOYS - Elite for High School (2016) - Lambert High School
High School Session: 9:00 am to 11:30 am daily. High School session will be run as collegiate practice with intense, position specific instruction. Participants must be in grades 9 to 12 as of the 2015-2016 school year. Due to NCAA Regulations, we are prohibited from advertising current players that will be working at the camp.
