We will focus on the processes as well as the products of creating both two- and three-dimensional pieces of art. Part of everyday will be spent making puppets out of recycled materials and producing a short performance at the end of the week. This promises to be a very busy and creative week! Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Intro to volleyball through skill development and small group games. Staff will focus on helping athletes learn the rules of volleyball while working on team play and sportsmanship. Wacky Water Week - Old Trail School
Campers will splash their way through a week of awesome aquatic activities with a variety of water adventures in some of the most elaborate aquatic facilities that Northeast Ohio has to offer. Under the watchful eyes of John Pintola and Jeff Eason (certified lifeguards), your child will enjoy water slides, lazy rivers, diving boards, zip lines, paddle boats, kayaking and more. Bring swimsuit, towel, sack lunch, water bottle and SUNSCREEN each day. Fee includes admission to all water parks. NOTE: This program begins one hour later and ends one hour later, so please adjust your transportation arrangements accordingly. Paddling Camp - OFFSITE
This camp will explore the inner harbor of Redwood City, while learning the basics of water safety, kayaking, outrigger paddling, and stand up paddling (SUP). Each day participants and their instructors will paddle to a different destination around the Harbor learning about the conservation and ecology of Redwood City, while having fun paddling. On Friday, campers will enjoy Kayak and Standup Paddle Board Relay Races. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Price includes Camp T-shirt, goodies and a certificate with group photo.
