Residential Elite Camp Coach Rob Czlonkas Elite Camp is by far one of the most exciting camps we offer. This camp attracts players looking to take their game to the next level. During this camp players will focus on both the technical and tactical sides of the game. Players will be shown how to improve their individual foot work as well as how to read the game and react accordingly. In the end, this camp gives each player an inside look as to what it takes to play competitive college soccer and more specifically what its like to be a member of the NSU Mens Soccer Team. NSU coaches will be providing primary instruction and evaluation however various other college coaches representing a wide ranging of programs from Junior college to NCAA Division I maybe in attendance as guest instructors. Goalkeeper Academy As Part of the Advanced and Elite Camps, this camp is designed around the specialized training of Keepers that is required for the players positional development. This will prepare goalies that are passionate about the position for what the college game requires. Radical Robots Camp - Northwest Art Center
Age Range: 7 and up Campers will spend a project based learning week exploring all things Robotics. Construct your own Robot dog or sculpture from recycled parts and junk and then add robotic technology to make it move. Build a small bristle bot robot who paints. Engineering - Build It! - Middle School
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Webb Institute in Glen Cove: a private engineering college that offers a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Students work individually or in teams to design and build a boat that serves a specific mission. Each team is given a list of materials and then must collaborate on the design and construction of their boat. Student volunteers from Webb will assist the teams in applying engineering and physics to enhance the design of their projects. The week culminates with a field trip to the Webb Institute, where students get to test their construction skills under various conditions, tour their amazing facility, and visit the Robinson Model Basin to put their designs to the test by completing numerous challenges.
