The Folsom Lake SRA Junior Lifeguard Program trains children ages 8-16 years of age in aquatic safety, while providing them with an interactive and well rounded outdoor education. Each participant is given instruction and hands on training in CPR/1st Aid and Aquatic Rescue techniques/equipment. Educational trips include a river-rafting trip, bicycle tour of the American River bike trail, and ocean orientation during the Santa Cruz camping trip. **Please keep in mind that one uniform T-shirt and a JG rashguard are included in the tuition price. If you wish to purchase more uniform items, you may do so on this same registration site. Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Cost: FREE There will be fun for everyone at this party! Come dressed to impress in your best Holiday Ugly Sweater and be ready to start the night with a Christmas Light Tour from Showcase Limousine Service! This includes: Chauffeur in Santa Hat, Red Carpet Roll Out, fireplace on TVs, Christmas Cookies, Christmas Music, and Sparkling Cider. After our tour we will be back at the CRG office where we will be having some delicious appetizers. Live Music, Snacks and Drinks will be served. Oh Jonah!: Music Camp 2016 Monday – Friday, August 8-14, 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Oh, Jonah Practice & Activities 12 – 12:30 p.m. Lunch Bunch 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Field Trip Camp Cost: $20 (includes CD, t-shirt, snacks). This year, we would like to extend our day to 3:00 p.m. to include afternoon activities such as service, swimming, bowling, skating, etc. In order to add the component, we need willing adults to chaperone the afternoon outings. Get out of the Heat for One Day to Serve Teen Moms at Younglives Camp
Spa Day is an annual event at YoungLives Camp for Teen Moms and Babies. For many of these girls, this will be the first time they are cared for in this manner, and we need a lot of help to make it happen! Volunteers are needed from 10:30-2:30 & lunch will be provided. No experience necessary. Once you get there, we will assign you to a station, so note your special skills or area you'd like to help: Facial Massage Body scrub kit creating Nails What a great opportuity to get out of the heat, and enjoy the beautiful property of Lost Canyon while serving young moms. We are going to be taking the guys of the youth group on a camping trip to Yellow Wood State Forest campground. If there is a Dad(s) that is wishing to attend please talk to Jason and Josh Brown as soon as possible. We plan to leave the Church at 4:00 PM on May 13th, so please plan to be at the Church at 3:30 PM if possible. The cost for this event is $20/Person which takes care of your food and campsite fees. This event is open to both high school, and middle school guys and the deadline for money and paperwork will be May 1st at 8 PM. We will also be sending out a packing list a little bit later on. You can sign-up either on Facebook or on the sign-up sheet on Sunday night.
