Visit www.maskansascity.org to register! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: WHEN IS THE CAMP? The camp will, Insha'Allah, be from Friday, August 12th - Sunday, August 14th. WHERE WILL THE CAMP TAKE PLACE? Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Registration space is limited! WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, the deadline to register is by Friday, July 20th. After July 20th, the prices will go up to $140. Registration will close @ 11:59 on July 31st or earlier if seats are filled. WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CAMP? Yes, we will have two departing locations: one from ISGKC and the other from ICK. In the registration form is where one can specify where they would like to depart from. Outdoor Youth Day - West Palm Beach, FL
(FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. River Monsters Monday, February 22nd Whats the LURKING beneath the waters? Creature of the deep? Giants of the sea? Unleash monsters beyond your wildest imagination! If you DARE, come to this camp, face your fears and learn about river monsters and much more. Campers will learn all about cyrptids at this camp. Cryptozoology (from Greek , kryptos, hidden + zoology; literally, study of hidden animals) is a pseudoscience involving the search for animals whose existence has not been proven due to lack of evidence. The animals cryptozoologists study are often referred to as cryptids such as the Loch Ness Monster, Yeti, Bigfoot, unicorns, alien big cats, Chupacabra and more. Cryptozoology relies heavily upon anecdotal evidence, stories, and alleged sightings. Will we have any unusual sighting? You can count on it!
