Children's Yoga Camp: August 22-26th For children ages 7 & up, tweens & teens welcome! All yoga experience levels welcome! Yoga is very beneficial for children's overall health and development. While the emphasis is upon mobility and agility for the younger ages, gradually the postures are improved and perfected. Join us for a daily quickly-paced playful class of yoga asanas (postures), yoga story time about sages, postures, and ethical precepts of yoga (yama and niyama) that will enrich children's understanding and experience of the background of yoga followed by an art and writing activities that will reinforce learning of the sanskrit (the language of classical yoga, which is taught and practiced in the yoga asana class) and english translations of the classical yoga posture names and elements of the names. The class will close with some restorative yoga postures and a chant in Sanskrit to come full circle. UNH Outdoor Jobs and Summer Camp Fair 2016 - Durham, NH
Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. 2016 PDRC Junior Camp II - Pete Dye River Course of VIrginia Tech
Clinics cover introduction to golf, rules, etiquette, swing basics, on course play and a Skills Competition on the final day where parents, grandparents and relatives come followed by a Pizza and Soda party. Awards are handed out the final day. 540-231-6435

Girls Dance - Sanford Day Camp
Michele Buglio will be the instructor for our Dance program. Michele has been our Dance teacher for a number of years. She has her studio called Dance HDC at the Shoppes at Louviers. Micheles enthusiasm and energy should result in an exciting camp for your child. Dancers will be taught the basics in leaps and turns, ballet, theatre, modern, hip-hop, and Zumba. ----------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. All dancers will be transported in the morning to a professional dance studio for their dance instruction. ----------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Specialty dance shoes are optional, but encouraged. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp.
