Kid's Day Camp, afternoon session, for Kindergarten-2nd Graders. Register online at https://kideventpro.lifeway.com/myChurch/?id=30834 by June 6th. Campers will use the "participant registration" and chaperones will use the "volunteer registration." Cost is $12.50 for church members or $25 for non-members. Travel to Northern Africa and the Middle-East, without the motion sickness or expensive flight. Learn about the music, dance and culture of the area of the world where Africa meets the Orient. It's a whole new world of music and dance! If you only have a Western Music Education, you are missing out on over three fourths of the world's music! Students will attend from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, August 4th and 6th. Besides learning dance moves, students will make percussive instruments and learn to play several N. African Rhythms. Students will learn about the music and culture of this area of the world through music, dance, video, food and art. On Saturday, August 8th, students will have the opportunity to join 1 World Dance in a performance!

Theme: Learning to Walk in the Spirit Speaker: Mark Avery Worship Leader: Jeremy Jones Registration Fee: $25 if registered and paid (either online or by mailing a check postmarked by deadline) by October 16. $45 if not preregistered by deadline. Ages: 13 and up Bring: Bibles, pillows, bedding, at least 2 changes of clothes, towels, toiletries (don't forget your deodorant and toothbrush/paste!) :)

This two-day workshop will help you express (and discover) what is meaningful to you through writing: What true experiences motivate your work, and how can you make them truthful in fiction? Where does real life end and fiction begin? Award-winning writer and Colorado Mesa University instructor Rhonda Claridge will work with students on creating composite characters, developing fiction out of what they know, and elucidating the essence of their narratives.
