Unplugged Youth Retreat - East Troy, WI
Time to get away and unplug from the hectic pace of life. This retreat is for youth in 8th grade through 12th grade. Fee is $100. Panther Play - Multi-Sports Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
This course will consist of a wide variety of games. Campers will enjoy competing against both themselves and one another. They will play everything from kickball to lawn bowling, ultimate Frisbee to a milk-carton derby and we will even try our hand at an American Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course. Welcome to Hogwarts Americana-the American extension of Hogwarts. Campers will be immersed in the fictional world of Harry Potter. They will start off by being sorted into one of four houses-Paladorn, Grizelstorm, Embredor or Firesong. During this magical week, students will experience Potion Making, Charms, Muggle Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, Quidditch and plenty of games that will give them chances to earn points for their houses. Who will win the house cup? Campers should bring a lunch and snack daily except on Friday when will will provide food for the End of Term Feast! Fun Filled Field Trips - Old Trail School
Fun-filled field trips will be taken each day to enable campers to explore the exciting opportunities available in our community. Each morning will begin with a short educational reading and activity related to the field trip. Lunch will be eaten on the trip and a thematic afternoon snack will be provided. Each location offers campers the opportunity to play and explore. Campers should pack their own lunch. Field trips include: Cleveland Zoo, Great Lakes Science Center, Natural History Museum and Lake Farm Parks. Trips will be arranged according to weather and lunch should be packed in brown paper sacks or plastic bags to allow for easy disposal while on field trips. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Teen artists wishing to expand and deepen their understanding of arts experiences will want to join in this popular and intensive summer camp. Students of all skill levels will be engaged in the creative process through a variety of classic art mediums and techniques including painting, drawing, pottery making, printmaking, and more in a way they may not have time for during the school year. Because of the multi-media nature of this camp, there will be an emphasis on guiding teens to try new methods and embrace creativity! Artists should wear clothing that can get dirty during the creation of art.
