Summer Games 2016 - Maranatha Christian Schools
Come experience fun participating in "Multi Sports Camp" for a week with us! This camp is a combination of four different camps where you play, learn, and participate in the following sports being offered: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Martial Arts/Cheer. Everyday campers get to play and learn a different sport and the last day of camp all campers play a scrimmage game for 20 minutes in each sport. Come join us for the week and make new friends! Be ready to have lots of fun, open to the community. Ocean Explorers (Week 3 AM) - Lore & Lures - NESS
Have fun learning about fish and fishing while using maps, engineering, fisheries research, and innovative design while constructing a fishing rig. Use dip nets, a cast net, rod & reel, and fish traps to provide background for biological observations. Look to the past to explore the ocean lore of mermaids, sea monsters, and giant squid as well as glacial and fresh water influence. Advanced Ancient Ways - Sugar Hollow Camp
Campers must have completed 1 year of Ancient Ways previously. This camp will take a small group of advanced campers to the next edge, living off the land and living as their own tribe. Summer Language Camp: Week 2 - Lyman Campus
SUMMER LANGUAGE CAMP: Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 3 - 6 Dates: June 27-July 1 and August 1-5 Time: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm Format: Two, one week sessions Location: Laurels Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights Tuition: $400/session This camp is designed to introduce students to modern languages while they experience summer fun including cooking, sports, arts, sightseeing and field trips throughout the city – in the target language. Your child will be immersed in language, culture and pure fun in this camp led by Laurel World Languages faculty and counselors who are fluent in the language. Languages are offered in an immersion setting to give campers the foundation they need to enter a language class at their grade level. While cooking tapas, crepes or egg rolls, our students spontaneously use their target language to request flavors, colors, and what they like and dont like.
