SKYHAWKS MULTI-SPORT CAMP IS DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE YOUNG ATHLETES TO A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT SPORTS IN ONE FUN-FILLED WEEK. ATHLETES WILL LEARN THE RULES AND ESSENTIALS OF EACH SPORT THROUGH SKILL-BASED GAMES AND SCRIMMAGES. String Chamber Music Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Mpls
Have you been taking lessons or playing in your school orchestra? Come to our String Chamber Camp! Gain confidence and independence as you play in small groups with no more than two students playing each part. Improve your ensembles skills and play more expressively with the help of MacPhail string faculty and teaching interns. Camp will conclude with a final performance for family and friends. Current MacPhail students do not need to audition. We will consult your instructor for your playing level. 9B. Summer Camp - Java Game Programming - 5 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
Students will learn about project design, object-oriented programming, console applications, graphics applications and many elements of the Java language. Along the way students will build on what they learn each day. This includes learning how to program frames, colors and programming moving objects. The week begins with simple programming until it builds by the end where students will be able to create the game of pong in Java. No programming experience is necessary but doing common tasks on a computer is useful. Who knows, maybe you have the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs living in your house and you never knew it!
