LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Musical Production: The Lion King - The Evergreen School
Two shows on Friday July 29th at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in The Evergreen Theater. Calling actors, singers, and dancers! The Evergreen School Summer Performing Arts Program is putting on a big show and we need your talent! In this two week production, students become members of a small cast, and each day is filled with fun activities that build skills for musical theater. This years show is The Lion King. Every student enrolled receives a copy of the music and the script in advance of rehearsals. Auditions take place on the first day of class. In this production, everyone will be strongly featured with solos for all. On the last day, July 29, in partnership with our Backstage Crew and Costume Crew classes, actors will present two big performances (3:00 pm and 7:00 pm) complete with sets, costumes and lights. Attendance is required for all days of these two weeks and at both shows. This successful summer program has a team of five experienced teaching artists all lead by Evergreens Vanessa Miller. Let's get our Oakland youth to Camp Common Ground Oakland! - Oakland,
Thank you so much for supporting Camp Common Ground's effort to get our youth leaders in Oakland to camp! Your attendance and participation at the launch of our second fundraiser will be imperative to ensuring that our youth from diverse racial and economic backgrounds can stand together this summer to break down barriers that exist between their communities. Come hungry and ready to drink, and don't forget your laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. that we will use to get the word out about the fundraiser to all of our networks! What's the impact we will make in one day? The fundraiser will last for the entire month of March. During last month's fundraiser, Camp Common Ground supporters exceeded the fundraising goal of $4800. The $5400 raised will bring 4 Oakland youth to camp. During this fundraiser, we will raise $13,200, which will bring 16 more Oakland youth to camp--6 more on full scholarships and 10 on partial scholarships. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Dutch 4vs4 2016 Scouting - Army and Navy Academy
Dutch 4 vs 4 offers talented players the opportunity for an international soccer experience with the guide of Dutch professionals. The focus is on identifying talented soccer players and guiding them with guaranteed top-level training in a professional learning environment. Participants will show their skills in a 4v4 formation. Games will be organized in a tournament setting. Selected players will be invited to attend a special one week training program in the Netherlands, with the possibility to be identified for a development training program.
