Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. Camp is half-days, 9 AM - Noon. Cost is $150 for the three day camp; current EquQuest horsemanship program students are FREE! Call Pat Gleason at 512-965-1380 to register and click "Going" here. Teen Winter Art Camp: Positive Posters - Louisville, KY
With the New Year upon what better way to start it out than with a positive poster to hang in your home or community! Children can create their own quote for their poster or we will provide a variety for them to choose from. We will provide a variety of creative materials as well as a few inspiration pieces. Although we do teach technique we allow and encourage the voice of each individual child to shine through. In other words, no two paintings or sculptures will ever leave our studio looking the same. We value and honor the voice and creative spirt of each individual child and encourage them to find their own creative path. **Please remember to pack a healthy lunch and snack!
Kid Fit Camp- Southeast YMCA - Huntsville, AL
Get your kids away from the TV, computer, and video games. This summer the YMCA wants to help your child discover the FUN OF FITNESS! Class Description Sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickle ball and other fun fitness games every day! Strength training activities with a certified personal trainer! Fun lessons on health and nutrition with a registered dietitian! Wednesday field trip to Camp Cha-La-Kee from 9am-5p to participate in traditional fun outdoor activities such as: Canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and having fun on the Blob (picture attached)! Program Information Cost is $130– YMCA members, $155– Non YMCA members (cost includes bus ride to Camp Cha-La-Kee on Wednesday) Ages to register: 6yrs-12yrs old Dates and time: July 13th-July 17th, 9am-1p, Wednesday 9am-5p Campers will receive a t-shirt, ribbon, and certificate Sign up at the Front desk!
