Camp Collegiate Session 5 3rd-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Hawley Session 5: Explore the Great Outdoors III. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced. Get an early start on your camp day with low-key activities to ease in to the morning. Early Riser?s Camp is open to youth enrolled in Discovery Camp, Campapalooza I and Campapalooza II that would like to extend their camp experience. No camp on July 4th. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Superkids Spring Adventure Camp! Thursday - Red Morton Community Center
K-5th Graders Its a bird..its a plane...its a Superkid! Calling all boys and girls...school is out, but FUN is in! Float Camp: The week before the 4th of July is the time to celebrate the pioneers of our country and build a real parade float!!. Float Camp 2016 will construct the MAT 4th of July float to compete in the Hailey 4th of July Parade (last year we placed #1). Wood, screws, paint, string and imagination are the building blocks for this camp.
