Art Lovers come and see how creative you can be! See your imagination come alive and bring home beautiful keepsake art projects using different types of art mediums. We will also spend time playing some fitness games, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), and swimming in the pool, but our main focus will be the amazing art projects the kids will create. *****Please bring a nut free bag lunch***** Snack will be provided Please wear athletic shoes and bring a bathing suit towel and water bottle. Before care is available from 8-9 and aftercare is available from 2-6 for an additional fee. My 16 year old daughter loved the digital summer art camp offered in Atlanta. She wants to go into Marketing in college. Digital marketing is the wave of the future, and she will be one step ahead by taking this introductory camp during the summer. She is already asking us to send her to camp again next summer.... Jr. Kindergarten - Platt Park Childrens Center
This class is designed to serve children desiring an extra year of preschool and/or those who are able to thrive in an accelerated preschool curriculum. It is recommended that children be 4 1/2 years old by October 1 to participate. Enrollment is by the discretion of PPCC staff. Class meets M-TH 8:45-12:30 PM (includes Lunch). Young campers will be exposed to wonderful childrens literature selections, explore a variety of art materials, create crafts, enjoy sand and water play, sing songs, play games and participate in a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers must be able to manage toileting & dressing needs independently; and have not yet attended kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks are provided. All campers should wear their swimsuit under their shorts for times of water play and bring a towel for drying off after fun in the sprinkler. Skippity-Do-Dah campers will delight in weekly themes: Week 1 – Blast Off to Outer Space!
