The NYC Soccer Academy is committed to training players between the ages of 6-18 in the technical, tactical and athletic aspects of soccer. Players will be exposed to an experience of intense game situations that will help them develop the skill and confidence required to succeed at every level. Goalkeepers will be used in all sessions and coached by our experienced staff within their assigned groups. Students will have the opportunity to read, and critically discuss, Margy Burns Knights book, Africa Is Not A Country, with the intent of dismantling stereotypes and developing an appreciation for Africas diverse people, histories, colors, languages and foods. Additionally, students will be actively engaged in the process of learning, playing, dancing, eating and organizing.
