LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Famous Characters & Scene Study - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too! At the final class parents will be invited to a staged presentation. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter. Unplugged Youth Retreat - East Troy, WI

The Summer Camp Event 2016 - New York, NY
Come celebrate The Summer Camp with us! Open bar, free food, camp things and The Wooly DJ! TSC sends over 350 underprivileged girls (ages 6-18) from low-income and foster families to camp in Maine each summer. Unlike similar organizations, TSC brings campers back year after year. So the programming— and the community— grow with the campers. TSC also provides a literacy program to make sure that campers are reading at grade level as well as a mentorship program for “graduates." The Green Team is a student-driven after-school club that will explore issues of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and conservation such as food waste composting, recycling, energy use, and air quality. This student team will participate in hands-on environmental science projects that will include conducting research, gathering data, and analyzing and sharing results.
